What is it like to help save a life? Something many of us only dream of. But why not experience it for yourself?
This program allows participants a chance to work with qualified doctors and nurses in various hospitals and practices by assisting and shadowing them. Through this, you will get a chance to see what life is like behind the mask and gloves…
This program does not require any prior knowledge or qualifications.
You will be accommodated in single sex dorm rooms with all meals being prepared by the kitchen staff.
You will receive a lunch box for lunch during the week while working in the community or eat with the local people.
Please note that as the medical internship is based within the Port Elizabeth area, the participants will be based in Port Elizabeth

Whilst every effort is taken on the project to ensure a structured program, we are sure that you can appreciate the fact that the project operates in a dynamic environment and therefore it is difficult to provide participants with a set itinerary.
